The honest truth about perfume returns
Perfume is intimate. Once a bottle has touched your skin, it cannot be resold to anyone else — for hygiene reasons and consumer safety. This is why every fragrance house in the world limits returns to unopened bottles only. We do the same.
What we accept for return
- Unopened, unused, sealed bottles in original packaging
- Discovery Sets where all four vials remain sealed
- Return request initiated within 7 days of delivery
What we cannot accept
- Opened, sprayed, or used bottles
- Bottles without original packaging, muslin, or box
- Requests made after 7 days from delivery
- Products damaged after delivery due to mishandling
If your order arrives damaged, wrong, or defective
We cover it fully. Email us within 48 hours of delivery with an unboxing video showing the tamper seal and the damaged product. We ship a replacement free of charge or issue a full refund — your choice.
How to initiate a return
- Email returns@duskanddust.com with your order number and reason
- We arrange a reverse pickup within 48 hours (metros: 3–5 days; other cities: 5–7 days)
- Product is inspected on arrival at our Kannauj facility
- Refund is initiated within 3 business days of inspection
Refund timelines
- UPI / wallet: 3–5 business days
- Card payments: 5–7 business days
- COD orders: refund via bank transfer within 7 days (bank details required)
